“Amazing, you have always been a wonderful teacher!”

– Cherie, student

“As a former “older” student I can testify that you are the greatest dance teacher and miss the fun we had with you!”

– Kathy, student

“Lisa does nothing without Joy!”

– Liz, student

“I absolutely love taking classes with Lisa! She is a passionate, professional, and dedicated teacher. She fosters a welcoming and comfortable environment, while maintaining a timely and organized class. Lisa is incredibly patient and supportive of dancers at all levels. I have always found her choreography to be dynamic and fun to learn and I always leave her classes feeling uplifted and more confident.”

– Nancy, student

“When Lisa first brought her customized tap dancing program to our senior living community, I’ll admit I wasn’t quite sure what to expect or how tap dancing would work with our seniors. But from the moment I met Lisa, I knew there was something special about her.

Lisa truly has the ability to light up a room. She is bubbly, kind, patient, encouraging, and incredibly easy to love. She has a wonderful way of teaching that makes everyone feel comfortable and successful, no matter their ability level. She never makes anyone feel like they can’t keep up or aren’t doing something correctly—instead, she encourages them, celebrates them, and makes them want to participate.

Watching her get our seniors excited and involved in tap dancing has been such a joy. When Lisa walks into the room, people smile, and they genuinely look forward to seeing her. Her warmth and enthusiasm are contagious.
Over time, Lisa has become much more than someone we hired to provide a program. She has become a true friend to our community, and I know many of our seniors feel the same way. She has a genuine gift for working with older adults, and you can see how much she truly cares about each person.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lisa. Any senior community or organization would be incredibly fortunate to have her. She brings joy, movement, laughter, confidence, and most importantly, a feeling of belonging wherever she goes.”

Hi, I’m Lisa!

I began dancing at the age of 5 in San Jose, California. Training in tap, ballet, jazz, Musical Theatre and Lyrical styles until I received my B.A. in Theatre and Dance from Santa Clara University.

I am a certified Master Teacher with Dance Masters of America, licensed with the Royal Academy of Dance as a Silver Swans instructor and a registered Tap for All teacher. I have been teaching dance for over 35 years and have shared my passion for dance with students from 4 years old to those with higher numbers in their age but more passion in their hearts.

After an injury I was struggling with how to incorporate dance into my daily life and I found it with adaptive dance classes. I began teaching tap and ballet classes at senior living facilities to independent living, assisted living and memory care communities. I realized there was a gap that needed to be filled here in Northern Arizona, and a passion was ignited.
